Google Extends Its Helping Hand

Of the major search engines out there I would have to say that Google has been the most helpful when it comes to giving you advice in getting your website crawled and ranked. A while ago Google released its SEO Starter guide. This  helped us make our websites even more search engine friendly.

What you may not be aware of is there is a Google video with more extensive help hosted by the gorgeous Maile Ohye .

Some of the subjects covered in this video are:

• How to use webmasters
• Planning for a new site
• Designing your site
• Choosing technology
• Adding content
• Responding appropriately

This is just further testament to Google’s commitment to helping web masters making their website more accessible to Google. Why does Google do this? I would say that if Google helps you make a better website then that means better results for Google to display. This will benefit everyone.

This video is an hour long and does go into more technical aspects of SEO. However this video is worthy of your time as it will give you some good tips and an opportunity to see the lovely Maile Ohye.
