How New AdWords Exam Is Keeping You Up To Date

Google have set out to improve the training materials for advertising professionals by updating the Google Advertising Fundamentals exam. This exam covers basic aspects of AdWords and online advertising in order to provide a better standard for AdWords users. The exam has been revaluated in order to be more rigorous and strategy orientated to equip users with the right training to manage AdWords campaigns.

The exam will now cover a wider range of information and the pass score has been bumped up from 75% – 85%.

Techniques and best practices in creating an AdWords campaign are constantly evolving and as such the information available must also evolve. The AdWord crew’s goal in doing this was to provide the relevant up to date materials to cover all current products and best practices for running and managing an AdWords campaign.

Through this it is hoped that a high standard can be set for AdWord users, endowing them with the skills to use the tools available to their fullest.

The exam is currently only available in English with many already having passed it. Advanced exams will go live in January 2010 in 20 additional languages. The exam can be accessed now from Google’s Exam Testing Site.
